Our story
Built by Florida roofers, for Florida homes.
Sanctuary Home Solutions was founded in Coral Springs in 2010. Chris spent his early career in commercial construction in Broward and Miami-Dade — the parts of Florida with the strictest building code in the country. He started Sanctuary because he kept seeing residential roofers cut corners that commercial inspectors would never let pass on a strip mall.
Fifteen years later, we still treat every residential install with the same code discipline as a Class-A commercial job. Self-adhered underlayment per FBC R905.1.2. Hurricane strap inspection on every tear-off (R908.5). New drip edge on every eave (R903.4.1). Documented attic ventilation calculation (R806). Every product carries a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance for HVHZ zones.
We install all four major systems — tile, asphalt shingle, standing-seam metal, and TPO/PVC flat — and we’re factory-certified by the manufacturers we use most: GAF Master Elite (top 2% of US roofers), Owens Corning Platinum Preferred, CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster, Eagle Roofing certified, Custom-Bilt Metals authorized, and Polyglass for self-adhered HVHZ underlayment. Certification matters because it’s the only way you get the manufacturer’s longest available warranty terms.
On the envelope side, our primary impact-window and door manufacturer is Mr. Glass — engineered and powder-coated in Medley, Florida, with Miami-Dade NOAs across the line. We source through our preferred Miami distributor, AA Glass & Windows in Doral. For complex roofing projects in the Florida Keys or legacy tile work that needs a 40-year-old hand on the trowel, our preferred trade partner is Perkins Roofing Corp. — family-built since 1980. We pick partners the same way we pick materials: Florida-made, Florida-tested, and accountable to the same homeowner you are.
Most of our work today comes from referrals. Neighbors who’ve seen our trucks across the street for two weeks, watched the cleanup crew sweep their driveway with a magnet at the end of every day, and called us when their own roof was up next. That’s the highest compliment a Florida roofer can earn.
How we work
Five principles, since 2010
Code-first installation
FBC 2023 + HVHZ on every job. Sealed deck. Self-adhered underlayment. Hurricane strap inspection. New drip edge. Documented ventilation. Code is the floor we work from, not a ceiling we negotiate down to.
Fixed-price written quotes
Every line item itemized. Decking allowance in writing. Permit fee included. The number on your contract is the number you pay — even if we find more deck rot than expected, we eat the overage if we wrote you a fixed-price contract.
W-2 employees, never subcontractors
Every installer is on our payroll. Same crew on every project. Most have been with us 3+ years — they take ownership and know our standards. No vanishing subs.
Honest material recommendations
We install all four major systems and we're certified for all the major brands. We recommend what's right for your home, your style, and your budget — not what carries the highest commission for us.
The owner answers warranty calls
If something fails on a roof we installed — even 9 years later — you get a callback within one business day. From the owner. Not a call center. We answer because we stand behind every job.
Cleanup like it was our own house
Daily yard sweep with a magnet for nails. Tarped at end of day. Driveway clean. Bushes protected. We leave the site cleaner than we found it, every time.
Florida-made, Florida-installed
Aligned with the best in Florida
We don't manufacture windows, doors, or underlayment — we partner with the manufacturers and distributors who set the standard in South Florida. These are the brands behind every install.
Mr. Glass
Medley, FL · Est. 1999
Florida-made aluminum impact windows and doors. Miami-Dade NOAs across the line, three Medley factories, custom finishes in powder coat, Kynar, and woodgrain.
Why we picked them
Engineered locally for HVHZ — same code we install to.
AA Glass & Windows
2020 NW 129th Ave, Miami, FL
Our distribution partner for Mr. Glass and ECO Windows out of Doral. Tighter lead times, on-hand inventory, factory-direct pricing passed to homeowners.
Why we picked them
Shorter lead times, same code-grade product.
Polyglass USA
Deerfield Beach, FL
Polystick® TU MAX, MTS Plus, and IR-Xe self-adhered underlayments. ADESO® dual-compound technology — the new HVHZ standard for tile and shingle.
Why we picked them
The underlayment that survives 50-yr Florida tile installs.
Perkins Roofing Corp.
South Florida · Since 1980
Family-built since 1980. Six-county coverage from Saint Lucie through Monroe. The roofers we lean on for legacy tile, complex commercial, and Keys logistics.
Why we picked them
Pros we trust for the jobs that need 40 years of muscle memory.
Credentials
Licensed, insured, certified, accountable
Honest disclosure
We’re not for everyone.
If your only criterion is the lowest bid, our competitors will beat us — and you should hire them. We bid full tear-offs, never overlays. We pull permits, even when the city wouldn’t notice. Our crews are W-2 with benefits, not day-labor subs. That costs more.
But you’ll get our cell phone, a 10-year warranty we’ll actually honor, and a roof built to the 2031 code — not the 2008 one. The owner answers your warranty calls in 2031, the same way he does today.
If that’s worth it to you, let’s talk.
