Common questions

Impact-window FAQ

How much do impact windows cost in South Florida?

Most homeowners invest $850-$1,400 per impact window installed. The total depends on size, glass type (clear vs Low-E vs tinted), frame material (vinyl vs aluminum), and whether you need new construction or replacement style. We provide written, fixed-price quotes within 24 hours.

Are your windows Miami-Dade County approved?

Every series we install carries a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) — the strictest hurricane code in the country. We can provide the NOA number for any specific product before you sign.

How long does installation take?

A typical full-house installation (15-25 windows) takes 1-3 days once permits are approved. Single-window replacements take just a few hours. We protect your floors and clean up daily.

What manufacturers do you install?

Our primary partner is Mr. Glass — a Medley, Florida manufacturer with three local plants, every product carrying a Miami-Dade NOA. We source through our preferred distributor AA Glass in Doral for shorter lead times. We also still install PGT, ES Windows, CWS, and CGI on request — all Florida-based with strong warranties and Miami-Dade NOAs. We help you pick the right balance of price, performance, and finish.

Why is Mr. Glass your primary window manufacturer?

Three reasons. First, they are 100% South Florida — engineered, manufactured, and powder-coated within Miami-Dade. Second, every series carries large- and small-missile Miami-Dade NOAs, so HVHZ approval is built in across the line. Third, AA Glass in Miami is our preferred distributor, which means tighter lead times and factory-direct pricing we can pass to you. PGT and ES are excellent — Mr. Glass is just the closest match to our 'Florida-made, Florida-installed' standard.
