What you’ll feel the first night

The kind of door you close at night without checking twice.

  • Feel the deadbolt slide into a steel-reinforced frame. Three lock points engage the frame simultaneously. The kind of solid-thunk close that says “nothing’s getting through this.”
  • Hear the street go silent. Two laminated glass panes bonded with PVB interlayer. Traffic, leaf blowers, neighbors — muffled to a whisper.
  • Sleep through the next hurricane without boarding up. 200+ mph wind rating, Miami-Dade NOA on every panel. Your shutters stay in the garage.
  • Watch your insurance drop the day after install. Wind Mitigation credit unlocks 20–45% off your wind premium — usually $1,200–$2,500/year, every year, forever.

Common questions

Impact-door FAQ

What types of impact doors do you install?

Entry doors (single, double, sidelights, transoms), sliding glass doors (2-, 3-, and 4-panel), multi-track pocketing doors (3-track / 6-panel), French doors (in-swing or out-swing), pivot doors (architectural up to 12-foot leaves), and patio doors. Custom sizes for non-standard openings. Our primary line is Mr. Glass — sourced through our Miami distributor AA Glass — and we also install PGT, ES Windows, and CWS on request.

Why is Mr. Glass your primary door manufacturer?

Mr. Glass engineers and fabricates every door system in their three Medley, Florida plants. Powder-coated locally, Miami-Dade NOA across the line, and distributed through our preferred partner AA Glass in Doral. That gives us tighter lead times, factory-direct pricing, and a manufacturer who actually knows what HVHZ feels like in practice.

How are impact doors different from regular doors?

Impact doors use laminated glass — two panes bonded with a clear plastic interlayer that holds the glass together when struck. The frame is reinforced steel or aluminum, and locks are multi-point engaging the frame at three or more positions. Tested to ASTM E1996.

Do impact doors lower my insurance?

Yes — impact doors count toward your Wind Mitigation insurance credit alongside impact windows. Most homeowners see 20-45% off the wind portion of their premium when ALL openings are protected.

How much does an impact entry door cost?

Standard 36" impact entry doors typically run $2,400-$4,500 installed, including hardware. Sliding glass doors run $4,500-$9,000 depending on size and panel count. Pivot doors and architectural French units are higher — quoted on a per-project basis.
