First, look for these
Six signs of storm damage
Before you call your insurer, do this 10-minute walk-around. Photograph anything you see.

Visible leaks or stains
Brown rings on ceilings or walls. Wet insulation in the attic. Drips during the last storm.

Missing or curling shingles
Especially common after named storms. Even a few missing shingles compromise your entire roof.

Hail damage on shingles
Round bruise marks 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. Missing granules. Often invisible from the ground.

Damaged metal flashing
Bent or torn flashing around chimneys, vents, and skylights — common entry points after wind events.

Tile cracks or slips
Hairline cracks in concrete tile. Tiles that have shifted out of position. Visible underlayment.

Granules in your gutters
Asphalt granules washing into gutters means accelerated UV damage — often correlated with storm exposure.
⚠️ Florida statute of limitations
You typically have 1 year from the date of loss to file a notice of claim, and 2 years to file a supplemental claim. Don’t wait — even small damage gets worse, and insurers deny stale claims.

Why we win claims
82% approval vs 64% industry average
Most contractors quote your roof, hand you the bid, and disappear until the check arrives. We do something different: we treat your insurance claim as our problem too.
- We meet your adjuster — in person, on the roof, every time.
- We file supplements when scope comes back underbid — recovers $5k-$30k on average.
- We document everything — photos, code requirements, manufacturer specs.
- We fight denials — we’ve overturned dozens of denied claims with the right documentation.
